According to some residents, the area where the fire occurred was the factory of Hansol Company in Yen Phong Industrial Park, Bac Ninh. The cause of the fire may have been an electrical short.

Immediately after the fire, the Yen Phong District Police coordinated with the Fire and Rescue Police Department to dispatch fire trucks to the scene to extinguish the fire, prevent the fire from spreading to factories and companies in the industrial park, and at the same time organize traffic diversion.

After about 1 hour, the fire was basically controlled. The fire burned down some factories, fortunately there were no casualties.

Currently, the fire is still being verified by the authorities to clarify the cause and statistics on the damage figure.
